The Cincinnati Swords' Nikita Korotkov had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-2 win over the Battle Creek Revolution.

Korotkov scored on the power play at 15:12 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Cincinnati and again while on the power play 16:44 into the second to make the score 4-1 Cincinnati.

Cincinnati stifled Battle Creek's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Swords forced the Revolution goalie Zach Kooi to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Cincinnati outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, the Swords average 3.7 goals per contest.

Cincinnati also got points from Aaron Storch, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Kevin Gregory, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Henry Smith, who also had one goal and one assist. Robert Gentile also scored for Cincinnati. In addition, Cincinnati received assists from Hunter Schneider, who had three and Jessie Fracassi, Thomas Clayton, Tanner Bennet, and Emil Sundstrom, who each chipped in one.

Battle Creek struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Cincinnati to score three power play goals on five chances.

The Revolution were led by Trevor Carey, who racked up one goal. Carey scored 9:47 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cincinnati. Brandon Benaglio provided the assist. Battle Creek also got a goal from Justin Toye as well. Other players who recorded assists for Battle Creek were Austin Hill, Alex Olsen, and Michael Schmitt, who contributed one a piece.

Joe Sheppard recorded 22 saves for the Swords. Cincinnati incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Battle Creek's Kooi stopped 31 shots out of the 37 that he faced. The Revolution incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
