St. Louis downs Cincinnati, 5-2

Zane OBryan registered one point to lead the St. Louis Jr. Blues to a 5-2 victory over the Cincinnati Swords.

Cincinnati was unable to stop St. Louis from sending pucks towards the net, and the Jr. Blues eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

St. Louis additionally got points from Tommy Heinzman, who also had one goal and one assist. St. Louis also had goals scored by Christian Argyros, maxwell cobb, and Alex Klaesner, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for St. Louis were Tyler Opilka, who had three and Adam Roeder, Chris Brown, Andrew McGlynn, and Mike Lozano, who each chipped in one.

The Swords were helped by Aaron Storch, who racked up one goal. Storch scored on the power play 17:10 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Cincinnati earned a power play opportunity when Roeder was put in the box for high sticking. Devin Fracassi picked up the assist. Cincinnati also got a goal from Sean Kilpatrick as well. In addition, Cincinnati received assists from Henry Smith, Thomas Clayton, and Tanner Bennet, who contributed one a piece.

St. Louis' Cooper Cothran stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced. The Jr. Blues incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Alec Rounds made 28 saves for the Swords on 33 shots. Cincinnati incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
