Behind a great game by Jace Childs, who had two goals and three assists, the Twin City Steel defeated the Breezy Point North Stars, 11-3.

Childs' tallies came on the power play at 7:31 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Breezy Point and short handed 8:59 into the third to make the score 7-3 Twin City.

Breezy Point was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as Twin City was able to score four times while on the power play.

The Steel stifled the North Stars' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Breezy Point was unable to stop Twin City from sending pucks towards the net, and the Steel eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. Twin City bested its season scoring average. This season, the Steel average 3.9 goals per contest. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Twin City additionally got points from Dylan Lincoln, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Tanner Duffney, who also had one goal and one assist, Isaac Hale, who also registered two goals and one assist, Chase Myers-Beck, who also tallied one goal and three assists, and Sam Basich, who also had one goal and two assists. Joonas Huovinen also scored for Twin City. More assists for Twin City came via Ben Ihrie and Evan Anderson, who each chipped in one and Mathias Ahman, Zach Randell, and Calvin Miska, who contributed two a piece.

The North Stars were helped by Russel Barone, who finished with one goal. Barone scored 44 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Breezy Point. Blake Neumann assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Breezy Point included Isak Larson and Kyle Whipple, who each put in one. In addition, Breezy Point received assists from Chris Hjorth, who had two and Bo Borowski, Austin Williams, and Mitch Pierson, who each chipped in one.

Twin City's Zach Denny stopped 17 shots out of the 20 that he faced. The Steel incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Joey Bergquist recorded 26 saves for Breezy Point. The North Stars totaled 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and went 0-for-5 on the power play.
