The Cincinnati Swords were firing on all cylinders against the Battle Creek Revolution, and when the final buzzer sounded Swords emerged with a 7-2 win. Aaron Storch had one goal and three assists to lead Cincinnati. Storch scored 6:58 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Cincinnati. Matt St. Martin picked up the assist. The Swords excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Battle Creek was unable to stop Cincinnati from sending pucks towards the net, and the Swords eventually piled up 60 shots on goal. Cincinnati outdid its season average for goals scored. The Swords have scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign.
