The Cincinnati Swords had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 3-0 win over the Battle Creek Revolution.

Cincinnati was led by Robert Gentile, who had one goal. Gentile scored 19:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cincinnati. Brenden Williams assisted on the tally.

The Swords' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Battle Creek power plays.

Cincinnati also had goals scored by Andrew Bond and Nick Haase, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Cincinnati were Devin Fracassi, who had two and Nikita Korotkov, Thomas Clayton, and Nicholas Riscossa, who each chipped in one.

Battle Creek put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Cincinnati to score on any of its five power plays.

Joe Sheppard recorded 18 saves for the Swords. Cincinnati ended with 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. Zach Kooi rejected 27 shots on goal for the Revolution. Battle Creek ended with 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major.
