The Chicago Junior Bulldogs and the Wisconsin Whalers were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Chicago made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Ryan Maksimovic secured the win for the Junior Bulldogs with a goal in the third period. Maksimovic was all over the ice for Chicago, as he had two goals in the win. Chicago also got points from Matt Kostopoulos, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
