Chicago downs Battle Creek, 5-0

Vince Bartkowiak registered one point to lead the Chicago Junior Bulldogs to a 5-0 victory over the Battle Creek Revolution.

Chicago excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Junior Bulldogs forced Battle Creek goalie Tyler Babinski to work between the pipes, taking 67 shots.

Others who scored for Chicago included Zac Edwards, who had two and Joseph Catalano and Ryan Maksimovic, who scored one goal each. More assists for Chicago came via John Godfrey, who had two and Trevor Foley, Kyle Pierce, Isaac Lamb, Toms Taurins, Matt Kostopoulos, Luke Morin, Tyler Dalton, and Henry Hearon, who each chipped in one.

The Revolution were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 34 penalty minutes.

Michael Krch recorded 18 saves for Chicago. The Junior Bulldogs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Battle Creek's Babinski stopped 62 shots out of the 67 that he faced.
