Austin Wilson recorded a shutout against the Twin City Steel as the Granite City Lumberjacks picked up a 3-0 win. Zach Voss was all over the ice for Granite City, as he finished with two goals in the win. Voss found the back of the net 14:04 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Granite City and again while 17:54 into the second to make the score 3-0 Granite City. The Lumberjacks' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Twin City power plays. Granite City's offense operated below it season average. The Lumberjacks put an average of 5.5 pucks into the net per game. Twin City was unable to stop Granite City from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumberjacks eventually piled up 42 shots on goal. Aidan Verbeke also scored for Granite City. In addition, Granite City received assists from Tobias Gabrielsen, who had one and Billy Warren, who had two. The Steel excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Twin City could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Steel average 2.7 goals per game. Wilson recorded 27 saves for Granite City. The Lumberjacks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jackson Germaine made 39 saves for Twin City on 42 shots. The Steel ended with 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major.
