The Sugar Land Imperials had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over the Dallas Jr. Stars.

Sugar Land got the win on the strength of a great game by Yves Bader, who had one goal and three assists. Bader scored 1:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Sugar Land. Tucker Spooner provided the assist.
