Jude Hull made 35 saves to complete the shutout and led the Topeka Capitals to a 4-0 win against the Dallas Jr. Stars. Topeka's penalty kill excelled, as the Capitals gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. Topeka was led by Yu Kikosaka, who finished with one goal and one assist. Kikosaka scored 7:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Topeka. Jaydn Munnelly picked up the assist. The Capitals stifled Dallas' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Topeka's defensive play was more effective than usual against the Jr. Stars.
