Tom Schmidt lifted the Alexandria Blizzard to an 8-5 victory with a hat trick against the Breezy Point North Stars.

Schmidt's first goal came 3:32 into the second period. He then added goals at 14:59 into the second and at 9:50 into the third.

Alexandria forced Breezy Point goalie Joey Bergquist to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. The Blizzard bested their season scoring average. Alexandria averages 5.0 goals per game.

Alexandria additionally got points from Aaron Ryback, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Alexandria also got a goal from Tre Kautzman as well.
