The Battle Creek Revolution could not stop the Chicago Junior Bulldogs' Jarret Walt, who tallied a hat trick in an 11-0 win.

Walt got on the scoresheet 1:01 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:30 into the second and at 14:59 into the third.

Michael Krch spearheaded the defensive effort for Chicago, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 30 saves for the shutout. Krch managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.5 prior to the game.

The Junior Bulldogs' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on eight Battle Creek power plays. Chicago kept Battle Creek's goalie busy throughout the game, and Zach Kooi made 23 saves on 34 shots. The Junior Bulldogs surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Chicago has scored at the pace of 6.8 goals per game during the current campaign.

Chicago also got points from Trevor Foley, who also registered one goal and one assist, Kyle Pierce, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Ryan Maksimovic, who also had two goals and two assists, and Luke Morin, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Chicago included Max Piper, who had one and Taurins T, who had two. In addition, Chicago received assists from Tyler Dalton, who had two and Matt Blaszkiewicz, Daniel Marotz, Anthony Palermo, and Justin Stein, who each chipped in one.

The Junior Bulldogs incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. The Revolution incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
