Beaulieu nets hat trick, leads xEl Paso Rhinos to 11-0 win over Tulsa Jr. Oilers

Tulsa Jr. Oilers could not stop xEl Paso Rhinos' Dakota Beaulieu, who tallied a hat trick in an 11-0 win.

Beaulieu notched his first tally 4:51 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:24 into the second and at 16:16 into the second.

xEl Paso Rhinos gained an early advantage, leading 4-0 by the end of the first period.

xEl Paso Rhinos forced Tulsa Jr. Oilers' netminders to work in net, racking up 65 shots and forcing 54 saves. Adam Salisbury made 50 stops and Teke Murphy made four. xEl Paso Rhinos' goal total was higher than its season average. xEl Paso Rhinos has scored at the pace of 8.0 goals per game during the current campaign.

xEl Paso Rhinos also got points from Kalvis Ozols, who also finished with one goal and three assists, Chad Cesarz, who also tallied three goals and three assists to lead the team in points, Andrew Bradford, who also grabbed one goal and four assists, Peter Plesa, who also had one goal and one assist, and Matthew Plesa, who also registered one goal and one assist. Jeremy Rezaeepour also scored for xEl Paso Rhinos. In addition, xEl Paso Rhinos received assists from Drew DePalma, who had one and Nick Plesa, who had three.

Bryce Fink rejected 24 shots on goal for xEl Paso Rhinos. xEl Paso Rhinos totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 1-for-1 on the power play. Tulsa Jr. Oilers totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and had no power play opportunities.
