Missoula Maulers tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but xSalt Lake City Moose held on for a 3-1 victory. A goal by Tyler Keturi put xSalt Lake City Moose up 3-0 in the second period, but Missoula Maulers pulled to within two on Joey Porco's tally 2:53 into the third period. xSalt Lake City Moose's Brad Robertson was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him.
