xEl Paso Rhinos had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-1 win over New Mexico Renegades. xEl Paso Rhinos pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes. xEl Paso Rhinos was paced by Kalvis Ozols, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Ozols scored on the power play 10:47 into the first period to make the score 2-0 xEl Paso Rhinos. xEl Paso Rhinos had taken the advantage when New Mexico Renegades' Alex Nau got sent off for hooking.
