Kyle Williams netted a hat trick to lead xIdaho Junior Steelheads over Seattle Totems, 9-1. Williams notched his first tally 11:10 into the first period. He then added goals at 18:31 into the first and at 17:33 into the second.xIdaho Junior Steelheads' Danny Kowalski was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 28 saves and let only one puck past him. Kowalski certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.2 entering the contest. xIdaho Junior Steelheads made Seattle Totems' goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, getting 75 shots and forcing 66 saves. Bryce Fink made 52 stops and Cody Stien made 14. xIdaho Junior Steelheads put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Seattle Totems to score on any of its three power plays. xIdaho Junior Steelheads outdid its season average for goals scored. xIdaho Junior Steelheads has scored at the pace of 4.9 goals per game during the current campaign. xIdaho Junior Steelheads also got points from Victor Carlsson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Jan Blasko, who also had one goal and two assists, Kyle TenEyck, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Zach Walden, who also tallied one goal and two assists.
