Kotzman's hat trick boosts Dallas Snipers over Ontario Avalanche, 7-3

Pavol Kotzman netted a hat trick to lead Dallas Snipers over Ontario Avalanche, 7-3.

Kotzman got on the scoresheet 4:02 into the second period. He then added goals at 17:34 into the second and at 18:28 into the third.

Dallas Snipers bested its season scoring average. This season, Dallas Snipers averages 3.7 goals per contest. Dallas Snipers got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

Dallas Snipers also had goals scored by Jesse Buchholz, Konstantin Ljubobratets, Alexander Yunanov, and Shane Bonds, who scored one goal each. More assists for Dallas Snipers came via Zach Lawson, who had two, Aaron Krominga, who had three, and Justin Becton, Jean Cobo, Tyler Tews, and Christopher Stein, who each chipped in one.

Ontario Avalanche kept Dallas Snipers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Emil Eriksson made 34 saves on 37 shots.

Ontario Avalanche was helped by Carl Hallberg, who grabbed one goal. Hallberg scored 17:52 into the second period to make the score 5-3 Dallas Snipers. Antoine Maillard provided the assist. Others who scored for Ontario Avalanche included Nikita Salnikov and Lubomir Fetkovic, who each put in one. In addition, Ontario Avalanche received assists from Basil Reynolds, Luke Rendino, Andrew Guzman, Michael Thomas, and Brett Norman, who contributed one each.

Dallas Snipers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Drake Koegel took the loss and made 14 saves before being replaced by Daniel Cepila who made seven saves. Ontario Avalanche incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
