Salt Lake City Moose downs Seattle Totems in overtime, 5-4 (OT)Acord Ice Center Sat, Feb 01, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
Salt Lake City Moose pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over Seattle Totems on a clutch goal by Cole Corson. Corson had a great game for Salt Lake City Moose, netting two goals. Corson found the back of the net 5:17 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 1:04 into the fifth to make the score 5-4 Salt Lake City Moose. Salt Lake City Moose kept Seattle Totems' goalie busy throughout the game, and Eli Alyakin made 37 saves on 42 shots. Salt Lake City Moose also got points from Martin Tolkner, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Salt Lake City Moose also got a goal from Tyler Keturi as well. More assists for Salt Lake City Moose came via David Barnes, Jurijs Moiseicenko, and Hank Parra, who contributed one a piece and Adam Kresl and Daniel Coley, who each chipped in three. Seattle Totems was helped by Marcus Triezenberg, who had two goals. Triezenberg scored the first of his two goals at 16:17 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Seattle Totems. Frank Flight assisted on the tally. Triezenberg's next tally made the score 4-3 Salt Lake City Moose with 3:30 left in the second period. Duncan Long picked up the assist. Seattle Totems also had goals scored by Robin Bjoernstad and Sergey Kuznetsov, who each put in one. In addition, Seattle Totems received assists from Lucas Walsh, Piers LaFrance, and Eric Danna, who contributed one a piece. Brad Robertson rejected 26 shots on goal for Salt Lake City Moose. Salt Lake City Moose incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Seattle Totems incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
