xEl Paso Rhinos takes care of Wichita Jr. Thunder early, wins 14-3

A four-goal first period deficit cost Wichita Jr. Thunder, which could not recover and fell to xEl Paso Rhinos, 14-3.

Krisztian Nagy had a great game for xEl Paso Rhinos, netting four goals. Nagy's first goal came 9:06 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:23 into the first, at 19:41 into the first, and at 4:52 into the second.

xEl Paso Rhinos put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Wichita Jr. Thunder to score on any of its five power plays. xEl Paso Rhinos forced Wichita Jr. Thunder goalie Marco Medina to work between the pipes, taking 65 shots. xEl Paso Rhinos bested its season scoring average. xEl Paso Rhinos averages 7.2 goals per game. xEl Paso Rhinos got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

xEl Paso Rhinos additionally got points from Chandler Bruyckere, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Dakota Beaulieu, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Andrew Bradford, who also had one goal and one assist, Jeremy Rezaeepour, who also finished with two goals and one assist, Kendal Craig, who also registered one goal and two assists, and Austin Hoff, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. xEl Paso Rhinos also got a goal from Chad Cesarz as well. Wichita Jr. Thunder also got points from McClelland, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Joel Gellvear also scored for Wichita Jr. Thunder. In addition, Wichita Jr. Thunder received assists from Carter Suski, who had one.
