Dallas Ice Jets' Simon deadly on offense in 6-0 win against Tulsa Jr. Oilers

Luke Simon had two goals to lead Dallas Ice Jets to a 6-0 victory over Tulsa Jr. Oilers.

Simon scored at 3:25 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Dallas Ice Jets and again while 18:43 into the second to make the score 5-0 Dallas Ice Jets.

Dallas Ice Jets' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Tulsa Jr. Oilers power plays. Dallas Ice Jets featured an improved defense during the game. Dallas Ice Jets averages 2.7 goals allowed per game. Tulsa Jr. Oilers was unable to stop Dallas Ice Jets from sending pucks towards the net, and Dallas Ice Jets eventually piled up 77 shots on goal.

Dallas Ice Jets also got points from Scott Folden, who also grabbed two goals and one assist to lead the team in points, Yannick Aube, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Dmitry Kuznetsov, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
