El Paso Rhinos blows out Dallas Ice Jets, 5-2

El Paso Rhinos had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Dallas Ice Jets.

Matthew Plesa had two goals to lead El Paso Rhinos to victory. Plesa's tallies came on the power play at 12:26 into the second period to make the score 3-1 El Paso Rhinos and 13:32 into the second to make the score 4-1 El Paso Rhinos.

El Paso Rhinos pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 71 penalty minutes.

El Paso Rhinos excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in 14 chances.

Others who scored for El Paso Rhinos included David Nelson, Nick Plesa, and Andrew Bradford, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for El Paso Rhinos were Chad Cesarz, who had three and Daniil Karamushkin and Peter Plesa, who each chipped in one.
