Seattle Totems holds on for 4-2 win against Lake Tahoe Blue

Lake Tahoe Blue tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Seattle Totems held on for a 4-2 victory.

Seattle Totems made the score 4-1 on a goal by Sergey Kuznetsov at 10:28 in the third period, and Lake Tahoe Blue got as close as 4-2 when Branislav Kost scored 12:12 into the third period.

Seattle Totems got the win on the strength of a great game by Kuznetsov, who had two goals and one assist. Kuznetsov scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 5:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Seattle Totems. Seattle Totems had gotten the advantage when Lake Tahoe Blue's Robert Donovan was sent off for interference. Brett Losey assisted on the tally. Kuznetsov's next tally on the power play made the score Seattle Totems with 9:32 left in the third period. Piers LaFrance provided the assist.

Seattle Totems kept Lake Tahoe Blue's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jakub Novotny made 35 saves on 39 shots.
