Cheyenne Stampede uses fast start to beat Arizona Redhawks, 10-3

Cheyenne Stampede opened up a six-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 10-3 over Arizona Redhawks.

Alexander Andersson had two goals and one assist to lead Cheyenne Stampede. Andersson scored the first of his two goals at 11:28 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Cheyenne Stampede. Maans Gustavsson provided the assist. Andersson's next tally made the score 4-1 Cheyenne Stampede with 7:08 left in the first period. Cheyenne Stampede had gotten the advantage when Arizona Redhawks' Sebastian Viding was sent off for holding. Jimmie Kotilainen picked up the assist.

More assists for Cheyenne Stampede came via Tyler Elkins, Garrett Johnson, Kyle Wambold, and Jacob Eisenstat, who contributed one a piece and Branko Oktavec, Filip Oravec, and Russell Armbruster, who each chipped in two.
