Salt Lake City Moose beat Tulsa Jr. Oilers, 5-2.

Salt Lake City Moose forced Tulsa Jr. Oilers goalie Eric Messer to work between the pipes, taking 62 shots.

Salt Lake City Moose was helped by Adam Kresl, who racked up one goal. Kresl scored 9:12 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Salt Lake City Moose. Patrick O'Bryan picked up the assist. Salt Lake City Moose additionally got points from Pat Dwyer, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Salt Lake City Moose also had goals scored by Brett Meyer, Tyler Keturi, and Dan Veselovsky, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Salt Lake City Moose were David Barnes, Martin Tolkner, Anthony Mancini, Cole Corson, and Jurijs Moiseicenko, who each chipped in one.

Tulsa Jr. Oilers was helped by Devan Beck, who finished with one goal. Beck scored short handed 5:28 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Salt Lake City Moose. Tulsa Jr. Oilers was on a disadvantage when Thomas Puetz went off the ice for roughing. Derek Smith provided the assist. Kyle Truax also scored for Tulsa Jr. Oilers.
