Southern Oregon Spartans could not stop Fresno Monsters' Filip Winkler, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-4 win. Winkler's first goal came 16:33 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:11 into the third and at 19:02 into the third.Fresno Monsters pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 23 penalty minutes. Fresno Monsters kept Southern Oregon Spartans' goalie busy throughout the game, and Ian Dvorak made 40 saves on 46 shots. Fresno Monsters additionally got points from Cory Sikich, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Mike Fabie, who also registered one goal and one assist. Fresno Monsters also got a goal from Evan Ingram as well.
