Dallas Ice Jets beats Wichita Jr. Thunder 13-1 as Simon gets hat trick

Wichita Jr. Thunder could not stop Dallas Ice Jets' Luke Simon, who tallied a hat trick in a 13-1 win.

Simon's first goal came 4:30 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:59 into the second and at 12:34 into the third.

Dallas Ice Jets forced Wichita Jr. Thunder goalie Dakota McDonald to work between the pipes, taking 87 shots. Dallas Ice Jets outdid its season average for goals scored. Dallas Ice Jets averages 4.9 goals per game.

Dallas Ice Jets also got points from Chris Schutz, who also tallied two goals and two assists, Johnny Henson, who also registered one goal and two assists, Byron Carlisle, who also racked up two goals and one assist, and Dmitry Kuznetsov, who also had two goals and one assist.
