Schutz lifts Dallas Ice Jets over Wichita Jr. Thunder, 9-5

Chris Schutz was all over the ice for Dallas Ice Jets, as he tallied four goals in Dallas Ice Jets' 9-5 win over Wichita Jr. Thunder.

Schutz's first goal came 16:35 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:10 into the second, at 16:43 into the second, and at 17:55 into the third.

Wichita Jr. Thunder fell victim to a deadly Dallas Ice Jets power play, which ripped Wichita Jr. Thunder for four goals.

Dallas Ice Jets kept Wichita Jr. Thunder's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jake Larson made 50 saves on 59 shots. Dallas Ice Jets found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Dallas Ice Jets averages 4.3 goals per game.

Dallas Ice Jets also got points from Yannick Aube, who also had one goal and one assist, Luke Simon, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Dmitry Kuznetsov, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Dallas Ice Jets took out Teke Murphy after he had made seven saves and installed Tyler Hough in goal, where he finished with eight saves and the win. Dallas Ice Jets ended with 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. Dallas Ice Jets ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Aube was ejected from the game. Wichita Jr. Thunder registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Team's Rob Weingartner, Jack McClelland, and Hull were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
