Arizona Redhawks completes comeback, beats Phoenix Knights, 4-3

Arizona Redhawks climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Phoenix Knights, 4-3.

Arizona Redhawks let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Arizona Redhawks took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Mitch Cobby at 19:39 in the second period. Arizona Redhawks found itself down 2-0 after Phoenix Knights' Robert Crisci put the puck home on the power play at 3:27 in the first period. After knotting things up at 3-3 on a goal by Colin Bresnehan at 12:00 in the third, Arizona Redhawks got the game-winner from Sebastian Viding at 12:58 in the third period.

Cobby was all over the ice for Arizona Redhawks, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

Arizona Redhawks also got points from Viding, who also registered one goal and one assist, Oscar Hagborg Olsson, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Mattias Marten, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Arizona Redhawks received assists from Charles Alexander, Anton Melin, and Colin Salotti, who each chipped in one.

Phoenix Knights excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Phoenix Knights' offense operated below it season average. Phoenix Knights puts an average of 5.8 pucks into the net per game. Arizona Redhawks was unable to stop Phoenix Knights from sending pucks towards the net, and Phoenix Knights eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

More assists for Phoenix Knights came via Kelby Minshull, who had two and Tanner Branch, Robert Smith, and Jordan Cullum, who contributed one a piece.

Colton Pankiw rejected 36 shots on goal for Arizona Redhawks. Arizona Redhawks incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Phoenix Knights' Troy Anderson stopped 23 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Phoenix Knights incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
