Cheyenne Stampede falls to Colorado Eagles in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Cheyenne Ice and Events Sat, Dec 14, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Colorado Eagles pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Cheyenne Stampede on a clutch goal by Nick Davidson. Although Colorado Eagles was up by as many as two goals in the third period, Cheyenne Stampede kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. Cheyenne Stampede got to within 3-2 on a goal by Russell Armbruster at 5:44 in the third period. Colorado Eagles pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 70 penalty minutes.
