Cheyenne Stampede climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Southern Oregon Spartans, 4-3. Cheyenne Stampede never led in the game until netting the game winner. Cheyenne Stampede fell behind 3-1 after a goal by Southern Oregon Spartans' Carl Edstrom at 8:45 in the second period. Cheyenne Stampede tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Ian Teal at 10:09 in the third period. Cheyenne Stampede got the game winner at 18:33 in the third period on a goal by Teal. Teal was all over the ice for Cheyenne Stampede, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Teal scored the first of his two goals at 5:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Southern Oregon Spartans. Thayne Trumbull provided the assist.
