El Paso Rhinos blows out Wichita Jr. Thunder, 9-3

El Paso Rhinos' Dakota Beaulieu had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 9-3 win over Wichita Jr. Thunder.

Beaulieu found the back of the net 12:07 into the first period to make the score 1-0 El Paso Rhinos and again while 9:51 into the second to make the score 5-1 El Paso Rhinos.

El Paso Rhinos forced Wichita Jr. Thunder goalie Jake Larson to work between the pipes, taking 62 shots. El Paso Rhinos could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

El Paso Rhinos additionally got points from Nick Plesa, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Trey Hughes, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, and Peter Plesa, who also registered three goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for El Paso Rhinos included Andrew Bradford and Chris Wilhite, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for El Paso Rhinos were Roman Konecny, who had two, Matthew Plesa, who had three, and Chad Cesarz and Tom Bartel, who each chipped in one.

Wichita Jr. Thunder excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Wichita Jr. Thunder kept El Paso Rhinos' goalie busy throughout the game, and Adam Vay made 32 saves on 35 shots.

Wichita Jr. Thunder was led by Keegan Hull, who racked up one goal and two assists. Hull scored 5:42 into the third period to make the score 8-2 El Paso Rhinos. Braden Smith assisted on the tally. Wichita Jr. Thunder also got a goal from Carter Suski as well. In addition, Wichita Jr. Thunder received assists from Tyler Larson and Chris Fiordirosa, who contributed one a piece.

Larson rejected 53 shots on goal for Wichita Jr. Thunder. Wichita Jr. Thunder incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
