Missoula Maulers tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Southern Oregon Spartans held on for a 4-3 victory. A goal by Justus Saldeen put Southern Oregon Spartans up 4-2 in the third period, but Missoula Maulers pulled to within one on Anders Nord's tally 17:02 into the third period. Ben Henry was all over the ice for Southern Oregon Spartans, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Henry scored the first of his two goals short handed at 7:56 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Southern Oregon Spartans found itself down a man on Austin Sartorius's slashing.
