Phoenix Knights downs New Mexico Renegades, 5-1

Jordan Cullum registered one point to lead Phoenix Knights to a 5-1 victory over New Mexico Renegades.

Phoenix Knights put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Mexico Renegades to score on any of its four power plays. Phoenix Knights' offense rang up 67 shots on New Mexico Renegades' net.

Phoenix Knights also got points from Max Mahood, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Phoenix Knights also got a goal from David Hornak as well. In addition, Phoenix Knights received assists from Colin Bresnehan and Brennan Johnsson, who contributed one a piece and Brynton Macnab and Ryan McNeely, who each chipped in two.

New Mexico Renegades was led by Adrian Schmidt, who scored the team's only goal. Schmidt scored 8:11 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Phoenix Knights. Zach Comfort assisted on the tally.

Phoenix Knights' Alex Taylor stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Phoenix Knights incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. John Groth made 62 saves for New Mexico Renegades on 67 shots. New Mexico Renegades incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
