Tyler Spencer had two goals to lead Southern Oregon Spartans to victory. Spencer's tallies came at 14:02 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Southern Oregon Spartans and on the power play 18:02 into the third to make the score 4-1 Southern Oregon Spartans.

Southern Oregon Spartans stifled Missoula Maulers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Southern Oregon Spartans forced Missoula Maulers goalie Sebastian Gronborg to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Southern Oregon Spartans also got points from Arturs Buss, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Jason Henry also scored for Southern Oregon Spartans.
