Salt Lake City Moose had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-3 win over Seattle Totems. Salt Lake City Moose pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 26 penalty minutes. Salt Lake City Moose was led by Daniel Coley, who had one goal. Coley scored 14:28 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Salt Lake City Moose. Aaron Tansy provided the assist. Salt Lake City Moose made Seattle Totems' goaltenders to work all game long, launching 56 shots and forcing 49 saves. Eli Alyakin made 47 stops and Cody Stein made two. Salt Lake City Moose excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Salt Lake City Moose additionally got points from Tyler Keturi, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Dan Veselovsky, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
