Southern Oregon Spartans' penalty kill was superb, as Southern Oregon Spartans survived multiple penalties to beat Salt Lake City Moose, 5-2.

Southern Oregon Spartans forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up eight minors and five majors for 91 minutes in penalty time.
