Arizona Red Hawks downs Colorado Eagles in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

Arizona Red Hawks' Mitch Cobby scored 53 seconds into overtime to beat Colorado Eagles, 6-5 (OT).

Arizona Red Hawks came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Arizona Red Hawks trailed 5-3 after a goal by Colorado Eagles' Nick Davidson at 1:29 in the third period. Arizona Red Hawks knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Oscar Hagborg Olsson at 9:47 in the third period.

Arizona Red Hawks got the win thanks to a great game by Cobby, who had two goals and one assist. Cobby scored the first of his two goals at 2:51 into the third period to make the score 5-4 Colorado Eagles. Hagborg Olsson picked up the assist. Cobby's next tally made the score 6-5 Arizona Red Hawks with 19:07 left in. Mattias Marten provided the assist.

Arizona Red Hawks additionally got points from Hagborg Olsson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Bret Steven also scored for Arizona Red Hawks. In addition, Arizona Red Hawks received assists from Chance Taylor and Maxim Sharkov, who each chipped in one and Sebastian Viding and Connor Rickabus, who contributed two a piece.

Colorado Eagles forced Arizona Red Hawks goalie David Deadman to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Colorado Eagles was led by Levi Weber, who tallied two goals and one assist. Weber scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 44 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-2 Arizona Red Hawks. Davidson assisted on the tally. Colorado Eagles also got points from Luke Galatiuk, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Davidson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Colorado Eagles also got a goal from Kyle Arenson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Colorado Eagles were Lance Pennington and Corey Richardson, who each chipped in one.

Arizona Red Hawks' Deadman stopped 30 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Arizona Red Hawks incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Quinn Wold made 19 saves for Colorado Eagles on 25 shots. Colorado Eagles incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
