Boulder Bison holds on for 5-4 win against Arizona Red Hawks

Arizona Red Hawks tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Boulder Bison would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

A goal by Charles Joly put Boulder Bison up 4-2 in the third period, but Arizona Red Hawks pulled to within one on Mitch Cobby's tally 14:56 into the third period.

Daniel Orsborn was all over the ice for Boulder Bison, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Orsborn scored on the power play 16:54 into the third period to make the score 5-4 Boulder Bison. Boulder Bison had gotten the advantage when Arizona Red Hawks' Mattias Marten was sent off for tripping. Greg Sodbinow assisted on the tally.

Boulder Bison's offense rang up 36 shots on Arizona Red Hawks' net.

Boulder Bison additionally got points from Kevin Behrens, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Boulder Bison also got a goal from Bjorn Bredeson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Boulder Bison were Matt Hefter, Christian Ramirez, Tanner West, and Chance Creger, who each chipped in one.

Arizona Red Hawks forced Boulder Bison goalie Colin Champine to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Arizona Red Hawks also got points from Oscar Hagborg Olsson, who also had one goal and one assist. Colin Salotti also scored for Arizona Red Hawks. More assists for Arizona Red Hawks came via Sebastian Viding, who had two and Anton Melin and Chance Taylor, who contributed one a piece.

Boulder Bison's Champine stopped 30 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Boulder Bison incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors. David Deadman made 31 saves for Arizona Red Hawks on 36 shots. Arizona Red Hawks incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
