Idaho Junior Steelheads had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-1 win over Cheyenne Stampede.

Jan Blasko was all over the ice for Idaho Junior Steelheads, as he registered two goals in the win. Blasko found the back of the net 17:21 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Idaho Junior Steelheads and again while 10:00 into the third to make the score 6-1 Idaho Junior Steelheads.

Idaho Junior Steelheads excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.
