Phoenix Knights completes comeback, beats Colorado Eagles, 5-4EPIC Blue Rink Sat, Nov 09, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Phoenix Knights battled back to claim a 5-4 victory over Colorado Eagles. Phoenix Knights let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Phoenix Knights took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Ryan McNeely at 11:28 in the second period. Phoenix Knights found itself down 2-0 after Colorado Eagles' Lance Pennington put the puck home at 19:41 in the first period. After evening things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by McNeely at 13:54 in the third, Phoenix Knights got the game-winner from Nick Kujawa at 14:42 in the third period. Phoenix Knights excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Colorado Eagles was unable to stop Phoenix Knights from sending pucks towards the net, and Phoenix Knights eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. Shane Fitzpatrick also scored for Phoenix Knights.
