The game between the xLondon Nationals and the Lambton Shores Predators was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end xLondon emerged with a 4-3 win. Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Jeff Bauer's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker. The Nationals were led by Bauer, who grabbed one goal. Bauer scored 9:56 into the third period to make the score 4-3 xLondon. Ryan Tuffin provided the assist. xLondon forced Lambton Shores goalie Justin Fazio to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. The Nationals struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 44 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays.
