Andrew Engelage recorded a shutout against the Quad City Mallards as the Arizona Sundogs picked up a 1-0 win.

Ian Schultz's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 13:19 in the third period. A holding penalty on Ty Rimmer had put Arizona on the power play. Garrett Clarke picked up the assist.

The Sundogs were led by Schultz, who tallied one goal.

Arizona stifled Quad City's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. With 28 shots on target during the contest, the Sundogs exceeded the 24.6 shots they average per game this year.

Other players who recorded assists for Arizona were Bryan Cameron, who had one.

The Mallards were held below their usual level of production. Quad City puts an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. The defense for the Mallards played an important role offensively, racking up 14 shots on goal.

Quad City was led by Matt Duffy, who took four shots.

Engelage rejected 27 shots on goal for Arizona. The Sundogs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Rimmer recorded 27 saves for the Mallards. Quad City incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
