The game between the Missouri Mavericks and the Tulsa Oilers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Missouri emerged with a 3-2 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Dave Pszenyczny's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

The Mavericks were led by Pszenyczny, who tallied one goal. Pszenyczny scored 17:13 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Missouri. John-Scott Dickson assisted on the tally.

Missouri stifled Tulsa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Mavericks average 28.7 shots on goal per game, but only sent 19 pucks on net against the Oilers.

Missouri also had goals scored by Mike Ramsay and Andrew Courtney, who scored one goal each. In addition, Missouri received assists from Eric Castonguay and Sebastien Thinel, who each chipped in two.

With 34 shots on target during the contest, Tulsa exceeded the 28.8 shots it averages per game this year.

The Oilers were helped by Ryan Cramer, who finished with one goal. Cramer scored 16:12 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Missouri. Todd Robinson provided the assist. Tulsa also got a goal from Kyle Bochek as well. Other players who recorded assists for Tulsa were Drew Fisher and Jarred Mohr, who contributed one a piece.

Shane Owen recorded 32 saves for Missouri. The Mavericks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Tulsa's Shane Madolora stopped 16 shots out of the 19 that he faced. The Oilers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
