A hat trick by Adam Pleskach was the highlight in Oilers' 5-2 win against the Quad City Mallards.

Pleskach got on the scoresheet 6:50 into the second period. He then added goals at 19:46 into the second and at 2:17 into the third.

Quad City's power play was ineffective against the Tulsa Oilers' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Tulsa excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. By firing 32 shots on goal, the Oilers exceeded the 28.8 shots they average per game this year.

Tulsa additionally got points from Kyle Bochek, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tulsa also got a goal from Michel Beausoleil as well.
