Ben Gordon netted the deciding goal for the Tulsa Oilers in the shootout as Oilers prevailed over the St. Charles Chill, 4-3 (3-1 SO).

The shootout lasted for eight attempts between the teams. St. Charles' shootout goal was scored by Jordan Fox. Tulsa's other shootout goals were scored by Todd Robinson and Gordon.

The Oilers came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Tulsa trailed 3-2 after a goal by the Chill's Martin Hlinka at 13:35 in the second period. The Oilers knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Michel Beausoleil at 12:42 in the third period.

Tulsa's offense was clicking better than usual and put 35 shots on goal during the game, better than the 29.6 shots per game it averages.
