Huge game by Rodier boosts Ottawa West Golden Knights over Ottawa Canadians, 8-2

Behind a great game by Zac Rodier, who had one goal and three assists, Ottawa West Golden Knights defeated Ottawa Canadians, 8-2.

Rodier got on the board by slotting home a power play goal 6:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ottawa West Golden Knights. Ottawa West Golden Knights had gotten the advantage when Ottawa Canadians' Ben Hartley was sent off for interference. Jeff Gottzman provided the assist. Rodier dished an assist on Derrin Lahoux's goal that made the score 4-1 Ottawa West Golden Knights at 3:36 into the second period. He then added assists on Marc Shanks's goal at 16:10 into the second and on Lahoux's goal at 19:57 into the second.

Ottawa Canadians fell victim to a deadly Ottawa West Golden Knights power play, which ripped Ottawa Canadians for four goals.
