Arnprior Packers and Perth Blue Wings were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Arnprior Packers made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Ty Fleming's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Arnprior Packers got the win behind a great game by Nick Wisman, who had two goals and one assist. Wisman scored the first of his two goals at 11:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Arnprior Packers. Fleming provided the assist. Wisman's next tally made the score 4-2 Arnprior Packers with 10:01 left in the third period. Corey Chaplin assisted on the tally.

Perth Blue Wings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Arnprior Packers to score on any of its three power plays. Perth Blue Wings kept Arnprior Packers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Erik Miksik made 42 saves on 44 shots.

Perth Blue Wings was helped by Chris Ewbank, who registered one goal. Ewbank scored on the power play 15:03 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Perth Blue Wings had gained a power play chance when James Prebble was whistled for unsportsmanlike conduct. Andrew Davis picked up the assist.
