Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Clarence Beavers defeated Shawville Pontiacs in a shootout 4-3 (1-0 SO).

Clarence Beavers was led by Sébastien Dion, who tallied three goals. In addition, Clarence Beavers received assists from Alexandre Charlebois, who had two and Jérémie Maisonneuve, Nick Draper, and Brennan Tousignant, who each chipped in one.

Clarence Beavers was unable to stop Shawville Pontiacs from sending pucks towards the net, and Shawville Pontiacs eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Shawville Pontiacs was led by Isak Savard, who racked up two goals. Savard scored the first of his two goals at 3:49 into the third period to make the score 2-2.
