Mitch Parker netted a hat trick to lead Ottawa Canadians over Metcalfe Jets, 6-2. Parker got on the scoresheet 5:36 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:25 into the second and at 12:57 into the second.Ottawa Canadians' penalty kill excelled, as Ottawa Canadians gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays. Ottawa Canadians stifled Metcalfe Jets' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Ottawa Canadians also got points from Connor Primeau, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Matt Crozier, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Rob Darnowski also scored for Ottawa Canadians. In addition, Ottawa Canadians received assists from Eric Ferguson, Nick Martin, and Jordan Stouros, who contributed one a piece and Nick Izgerean, Connor Devereaux, and Mitch Robertson, who each chipped in two. Metcalfe Jets was helped by Jeremie Xatruch, who registered one goal. Xatruch scored 5:06 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Ottawa Canadians. Junau St-Germain picked up the assist.
