Renfrew Timberwolves had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Gatineau Mustangs.

Gatineau Mustangs was stymied by Renfrew Timberwolves netminder Matt Schroeder, who stopped 31 shots during the victory. Schroeder managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.12 prior to the game.
